Cultivation methods and precautions of purple flowers

Cultivation methods and precautions of purple flowers

1. Soil

For cultivation, soil with good air permeability and water permeability should be used. There should be no lumps or water accumulation during the growth period, otherwise it will be detrimental to growth and may even cause root rot. The planting soil should be a mixture of garden soil, leaf mold and sandy soil, so that sufficient nutrients are more conducive to growth.

2. Watering

You don't need to water too frequently during the growing period, just keep it slightly moist, not too dry and not waterlogged. The specific number of times depends on the climate. In summer, you should add more water and sprinkle water. After autumn, you should reduce the amount of water and control the water.

3. Lighting

It is a relatively light-loving plant and should be given sufficient light exposure time. If it is placed in a cool, dark place for a long time, it will affect its growth and easily cause disease. But it cannot be exposed to strong light, so it is best to place it in a bright and ventilated place.

4. Fertilization

It does not require much nutrients to grow, just apply an appropriate amount of fertilizer during the growing season and before flowering. During the growing season, diluted liquid fertilizer is mainly applied, and before flowering, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers are used to promote flowering.

5. Notes

During the maintenance period, it is easy to cause mosaic disease, bulb rot and spot disease, etc. When found, the diseased parts should be cut off in time, and the corresponding pesticides should be sprayed for prevention and control, and it should not be allowed to worsen. During later management, pay attention to ventilation and let the plants get more sunlight.
