Difference Between Cauliflower and Broccoli

1. Difference of blades

The basal and lower leaves of cauliflower are oblong to elliptical, about 2-3.5 cm long, gray-green in color, rounded at the top, entire or with fine teeth. Sometimes the leaves extend downward, have several small lobes, and are wing-shaped. The color of broccoli leaves is blue-green, which gradually turns into dark blue-green, and the leaf color will be obviously different.

2. Fruit Difference

Cauliflower comes in two colors, white and green, and evolved from cabbage. When we talk about cauliflower, we usually mean the white one, while broccoli is green.

3. Difference in nutritional value

Cauliflower contains protein, carbohydrates, dietary fiber, fat and other minerals. The nutritional value of broccoli is higher than that of cauliflower. Excluding the minerals in cauliflower, the most prominent ones are vitamin A and carotene. The vitamin A and carotene contained in every 100 grams of broccoli are more than 200 times that of cauliflower.
