Information about creeper, what does creeper look like?

1. Introduction to Parthenocissus tricuspidata

Parthenocissus, also known as creeping fig, stone dragon, maple vine, and little bug grass, is a plant of the grape family. It is highly adaptable and prefers dark and humid environments, but is not afraid of strong light. It can thrive in shady and humid environments or in sunny places. The flowering period is June, and the fruiting period is generally from September to October. Its symbolic meaning is perseverance and striving for progress. It not only has the function of greening and beautifying the environment, but also has the functions of increasing oxygen, cooling, reducing dust and noise. It is one of the most commonly used materials among vine-type greening plants.

2. Morphological characteristics

It is a large, perennial deciduous woody vine that resembles a wild grape vine. It blooms in summer, with small flowers and indistinct clusters, and most are bisexual flowers on the same plant. There are tendrils on the branches, and there are sticky suction cups on the top and tips. They will stick to objects they encounter, whether they are rocks, walls or trees. Because of its strong adsorption function, it is often used in greening and has high ornamental value.

3. Growth habits

Ivy has strong adaptability and prefers a dark and humid environment, but it is not afraid of strong light. It is also cold-resistant, drought-resistant and barren-resistant. In areas south of the warm temperate zones, its leaves can remain semi-evergreen or evergreen in winter. However, it is afraid of water accumulation, which will hinder its normal growth. It is not very demanding on soil and can grow healthily in a shady and humid environment or in a sunny place, but it grows better in shady and fertile soil. It has strong resistance to harmful gases such as sulfur dioxide and can also absorb dust in the air.
