Can the leaves of Schefflera chinensis be transplanted to survive?

1. Can be plugged in

The leaves of Schefflera arborvitae can be propagated by grafting, but the success rate is low. Its main propagation methods are seed propagation and plant cuttings. Although the steps of leaf cuttings are simple, the external requirements are relatively high. It is best to choose branch cuttings.

2. Cutting method

1. Choose clean river sand or perlite and put it in the flowerpot. Use a small wooden stick to drill a few small holes to keep the flowerpot ventilated.

2. Choose unsprouted branches in spring, generally choose one-year-old branches, keep the three or four leaves on the top, remove the leaves at the bottom, and cut them into an inclined surface.

3. Insert two-thirds of the branches, and plant about one to three cuttings in each pot. Place them in a weak-light location indoors, and spray with water to keep them moist, but do not spray too much water, as this may cause the roots to be waterlogged.

4. Keep the room temperature between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, spray water once a day on sunny days, and transplant it to another pot after one and a half months.
