1. Leaf Difference

The leaves of the bamboo begonia are simple and alternate. The leaves are thick, obliquely oblong or oblong-ovate, between 10 cm and 20 cm long, between 4 and 5 cm wide, with a pointed tip, a heart-shaped base, and slightly wavy edges. The upper side is dark green with small round white spots, and the back is dark red.

2. Flower Differences

The petals of the bamboo begonia are light rose or white.

The flowers of Begonia are terminal or axillary. It is dioecious, and the female flowers have an inverted triangle ovary. The colors of the petals include white, pink, peach, etc. The flowering period is very long and it can bloom almost all year round.
