How to water Ficus ginseng

How to water Ficus ginseng

Time and method

When growing ginseng fig on a daily basis, the soil should be kept slightly moist, but it does not like waterlogging, so be sure to control the amount of water when watering.

There must be enough water during the growing period, and the soil must not be allowed to become too dry. If you find that the soil is no longer too moist, you can water it. At the same time, pay attention to sufficient sunlight. This can effectively prevent large areas of ginseng fig from falling off, seriously affecting its ornamental state.

During the growth period of new branches, watering should be reduced, so that the length of the new branches can be slightly shorter, the leaves can be thicker and fuller, and the color can be brighter;

In addition to keeping the soil slightly moist in summer, you should also spray water on the leaf surface and surrounding areas frequently.

The ginseng fig needs to be repotted every two years, usually in spring. After repotting, water it in small amounts and avoid excessive watering. When the temperature rises above 20 degrees, you can resume normal watering.

Note:

Be sure not to wait until the soil in the pot is too dry before watering. The soil in the pot can be kept moist, but not too dry.

Too much or too little watering will cause the leaves of the ginseng fig to turn yellow. When watering too much, you should loosen the soil in time to allow the soil to breathe more. When watering too little, you cannot make up the amount of watering all at once. You can spray water on the surface of the plant first, and then water it in small amounts.
