What to do if lucky bamboo grows taller

What to do if lucky bamboo grows taller

1. What to do

After the lucky bamboo grows to a certain height, we can take it out of the water and cut it diagonally at its roots. Then, after the cross-sectional wound has dried, put it back into the pot and continue cultivating it. The purpose of the diagonal cut is to increase the area for absorbing nutrients and to enable it to take root better. When pruning, the leaves at the base should be cut off and the cut should be smooth.

2. Maintenance after pruning

It is best to use mineral water or well water after pruning. If you want to use tap water, you must first dry the tap water for a few days and wait until the chlorine in the water evaporates before using it. Do not move it or change its direction within 10 days after pruning it. After about 15 days, it will grow white fibrous roots.
