How to identify Dracaena fragrans

1. Tree shape

Dracaena fragrans is classified as a tree or shrub and can grow to a height of more than 6 meters. The stem is very thick and has many branches. The bark is gray-brown or light brown in color and peels off like a peel.

The potted Dracaena is 50-100 cm tall, with an upright trunk and relatively few branches.

2. Blades

The leaves of the Dracaena fragrans are very broad and clustered at the top of the stem. It is oblong-lanceolate in shape, about 40-90 cm long and 6-10 cm wide. The color is bright green and very shiny.

3. Flowers

The flowers of Dracaena are small, yellow-green in color, and fragrant.

4. Growth habits

Dracaena fragrans is suitable for growing in an environment with high temperature, high humidity and good ventilation. It is shade-tolerant and heat-averse and likes light. The most suitable growth environment for it is 20-30℃, and it will enter a dormant period when the temperature is below 13℃.
