The difference between Begonia truncatum and Begonia truncatum

1. Tree shape difference

The iron crabapple is a shrub with a length of about 60-100cm, while the crabapple flower is a tree and can grow up to 8m.

2. Leaf Difference

The leaves of the iron malus are alternate, obovate, 1.5-5.0cm long, 0.8-1.8cm wide, with a rounded apex and a narrow base, and very short petioles or no petioles. The leaves of crabapple are oval or oblong, 5-8cm long, 2-3cm wide, and the petiole is 1.5-3cm long. Therefore, the leaves of the iron balm are smaller than those of the crabapple.

3. The difference between flowers

The iron malus has a dichotomous compound inflorescence that grows on the upper part of the flower branch. Each inflorescence has a 6-10cm pedicel. The crabapple flower has an umbel inflorescence and the pedicel is 2-3cm long.
