Lotus fertilization method, what fertilizer to use

Lotus fertilization method, what fertilizer to use

1. Fertilization time

Lotus likes fertilizer and requires more fertilizer. First of all, when potting, you can mix in a certain amount of base fertilizer. No top dressing is needed during the seedling stage. Top dressing is only needed after the leaves float. Fertilization is required afterwards, especially during the flowering period.

2. Fertilizer Types

Base fertilizer can be some solid substances, such as bone meal or cake fertilizer. For top dressing during the growth stage, you can choose some granular fertilizers purchased from stores. They are easier to exert their effects and are less likely to cause fertilizer damage.

3. Fertilization method

1. After selecting the base fertilizer, just mix it directly with the pond mud and then put it in the pot. When using granular fertilizer, you need to pay attention to the amount used, and add about 10 grains each time. When it is in the flowering period, it needs more fertilizer, so you can use more.

2. The interval between fertilization should be 7-10 days, and the interval should not be too short.

IV. Precautions

1. When the lotus is in its dormant period, its growth is basically stagnant, so it is not suitable to fertilize it. It is better to pause for a while.

2. Since lotus is grown in water, it is best to add a certain amount of water after fertilizing, which can dilute it.
