Don’t worry, now whether you grow them by cuttings or sowing, they will survive and bloom in a month! Sunflower cuttings and sowing1. Cutting and grafting If you cut a branch of sunflower and stick it in the soil, it will soon take root. If you have always been unsuccessful in your cuttings, follow Huahua and try a new method. First, place the pinched branches in a cool place for most of the day. Sunflowers have strong vitality, and leaving them in the air for half a day can stimulate their rooting. Put the flower branches in a disposable water cup and pour half of it with clean water (tap water should be left in the air for half a day to remove chlorine). In less than two days, the sunflowers will start to sprout roots. Keep them away from the sun and change the water every three days. After about six days, you can plant them in a pot. This method has a high success rate. If you can't plant them in the soil directly, you can try it. 2. Planting Sunflowers are blooming in waves. Don't forget to collect the seeds. The success rate of sowing is very high. Sow again and you can see the flowers bloom again. There is no need to germinate the seeds, just sow them directly in the potting soil, spray the soil surface with a kettle, and place them in a cool place. They will germinate in 3-5 days. After germination, move them to a place with good light for maintenance. When they grow to 6 cm in height, you can pinch the tops. Three or five plants will branch out and fill the pot! Sunflowers are not afraid of the sun. The more sun they are exposed to in the summer, the more flowers they will bloom. A whole pot of flowers can bloom in about 20 days.
