Efficacy and function of spiromicin

Efficacy and function of spiromicin

Abamectin is a compound insecticide that combines the properties of avermectin and spirodiclofen, and has the characteristics of a broad insecticidal spectrum and rapid action. So what are its specific effects and functions? Let’s learn more about it below.

Efficacy and function of spiromicin

The main mechanism of action of avermitoni is to inhibit fat synthesis in the body of harmful mites, block energy metabolism, have a good killing effect on eggs, larvae and nymphs, and can inhibit female adult mites from laying eggs and hatching. Abamectin has a good preventive effect on red spider mites, yellow spider mites, rust mites, tea yellow mites, cinnabar spider mites and two-spotted spider mites, and can be used to control mite pests on fruit trees such as citrus and grapes and Solanaceae crops such as eggplant, pepper and tomato. In addition, avermectin has a good control effect on pests such as pear psyllid, elm scale and leafhoppers.

How to use spiroclofen

1. Prepare solution

Normally, the usage concentration of avermectin is 1000 to 6000 times the diluted liquid, that is, one milliliter of avermectin is added to 1000 to 6000 milliliters of water. For example, if 34% avermitofoglucoside suspension is used, it is recommended to dilute it with 400 to 500 kg of water before spraying.

2. Spraying time

The pesticide should be applied at the early stage of the outbreak of harmful mites so that the front and back of crop leaves, the surface of fruits, as well as tree trunks and branches can be fully and evenly coated with the pesticide. Avoid applying pesticides during the flowering period of crops to avoid affecting the bee colony.

3. Spraying method

When spraying the medicine, make sure to cover all surfaces and spray evenly without missing any, especially the back of the leaves. The medicine should not be used in windy weather or when rain is expected within an hour.

4. Notes

(1) When spraying avermectin, try to avoid the flowering period of fruit trees to avoid pesticide damage.

(2) During each growing season, the number of sprayings of ivermectin should not exceed two times.

(3) Abamectin should not be mixed with strong alkaline pesticides and copper preparations to avoid reducing the efficacy or causing adverse reactions.

(4) Abamectin is toxic to aquatic organisms, bees and silkworms, and should be applied away from water bodies such as rivers and ponds in aquaculture areas.

In general, avermitilis is a miticide widely used in agriculture with the characteristics of high efficiency, low toxicity and low residue. Although it is powerful, you must pay attention to how it is used to avoid affecting the growth of crops and the quality of agricultural products .
