Difference Between Parsley and Celery

1. Different taste

Parsley has a relatively refreshing smell and is relatively high in water content, so it is mostly eaten as a vegetable; whereas celery has a stronger smell.

2. Different appearance

Parsley is bright green in color, with the lower part of its stem being white and the upper part and leaves being light green; whereas celery is darker in color, with its stems generally being green. The former has smaller stems than the latter, while the celery stems are relatively thick.

3. Different planting areas

Parsley has a high adaptability to geology and climate and is very easy to plant, but it has poor adaptability to dry environments and is mostly planted in northern regions; celery is generally planted in autumn and winter in southern regions.
