The difference between the peace tree and the Yuanbao tree

The difference between the peace tree and the Yuanbao tree

1. Peace Tree

This name is its commercial name. Its scientific name is more complicated and generally difficult to remember. It is a very common plant that only grows leaves but no flowers, so it is a typical foliage plant. The three-veined leaves on its leaves are very obvious, protruding on the top and concave on the bottom. The side veins extend out from the base of the leaves. Sometimes there is a small vein on both sides of the edge of the leaf. Its reticular veins are relatively obvious and look very much like a honeycomb.

2. Yuanbao Tree

It was given this name because of a very unique feature it had when it was young: two bumps grew on its bottom, making it look very much like a gold ingot. In fact, that is just its cotyledon, and it will rot after one or two years. Its leaf veins grow in a relatively regular pattern, with a vein in the middle and many small veins on both sides, similar to other leaves, with nothing particularly unique.

3. Difference

1. Both of these trees can remain green all year round, and their leaves will not wither and fall off when the temperature is particularly suitable. Moreover, they both grow relatively tall. The former is a small tree, and when it grows up, its size will be slightly smaller than the latter.

2. Their leaves are different, which is their biggest difference. The leaves of the former are generally simple, with flaky pith on the twigs. The leaves of the former are compound leaves, which are pinnately compound leaves.

3. The former has more veins on its leaves, and the marks are more obvious, looking like a complex honeycomb. The latter has more regular veins, with a main vein in the middle and many subsidiary veins around it.
