How to distinguish between the Green Overlord and the Hulk

How to distinguish between the Green Overlord and the Hulk

1. Green Overlord

1. Morphological characteristics

It belongs to the lily family and is a perennial. It can purify toxic gases such as formaldehyde and ammonia. It grows very fast and has large and thick leaves, making it very suitable for viewing at home. The temperature it prefers is 20 to 30 degrees Celsius, the dormant temperature is 13 degrees Celsius, and the temperature in winter cannot be lower than 5 degrees Celsius. Its branches are very straight and sometimes have branches. The leaves are oval in shape and have no petioles. They are generally 40 to 90 cm long and 6 to 10 cm wide.

2. Breeding method

Light: It likes a cool and windy area, does not like too high temperature, and the light cannot be too strong, but if it is too dark the green color will become lighter.

Water: It likes moisture. Water it frequently from March to August, especially spray it with water to humidify it in summer.

Fertilizer: During its growing season, you need to add nitrogen fertilizer every month so that it will grow well. Add fertilizer once every half a month, and you can reduce the frequency after autumn.

Soil: The soil needs to be breathable, loose and well-drained.

2. The Hulk

1. Morphological characteristics

It belongs to the Araceae family, also known as large-leafed white palm. The trunk is relatively short but very thick, with few branches. The whole plant can grow more than one meter tall. The leaves are very broad and oval, but have petioles. The flowers are as big as a human palm. It can last about a month from blooming to withering. The flowers are white at first and then turn green. It blooms in late spring and early summer.

2. Breeding method

Light: Generally place it in a shaded area. Do not expose it to strong light all the time, and do not place it in a place without sunlight for too long.

Water: It has large leaves and many roots, so it needs a lot of water. If it lacks water, the leaves will shrink. In severe cases, the leaves will burn and it will be difficult to treat.

Temperature: It does not require high temperatures and can grow well between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius in winter, protective measures must be taken.

Soil: It likes slightly acidic soil and moist soil, but not too dry.
