1. Tuberose

This tuberose usually grows in mountains below 500 meters in altitude, generally growing in the sun. The young branches of the South China tuberose have slight hairs, but the old branches are hairless. The flowers are umbrella-shaped, usually with multiple flowers. The length of the pedicels is about 1 cm, with a few short hairs growing on them.

The calyx is relatively thin and has an oblong oval shape, about 0.3 cm long and 0.2 cm wide. The corolla is green in color and shaped like a goblet, and the petals are cylindrical and trumpet-shaped, which is very beautiful. This kind of tuberose usually blooms in summer, so many people grow it at home.

2. Taiwan Tuberose

Taiwan tuberose is a vine-like shrub. It mainly grows in Taiwan Province of my country. It usually grows in mountains and forests, growing on other trees. In addition, they are also distributed in India, Thailand and other places. The stems and branches of this tuberose are relatively slender and soft, with tiny hairs growing on them. The leaves are oval but slightly heart-shaped, with a slightly pointed top and a heart-shaped base, which makes them very appealing. Its inflorescence is umbrella-shaped and the fragrance of the flowers is a light scent. Generally, the calyx of the flower is covered with needles and short hairs. The seeds of this tuberose are oval in shape, about 0.5 cm in size. The flowering period is around August every summer, and the fruiting period is in autumn and winter.

3. Tuberose

The place where the prostrate tuberose grows mainly is in the forests in the southern part of my country. The branches of this tuberose are thin and soft, without short hairs growing. The inflorescence is also umbrella-shaped, with multiple flowers blooming. Generally, the seeds of the procumbent tuberose are flat. Its flowering period is earlier than the other two types of tuberose, in May, and its fruiting period is in autumn every year.
