Cultivation methods and precautions of wild roses

The habit of this plant

First of all, it is a very light-loving plant. Although semi-shade is also acceptable, long-term lack of light will always have some effects on it. If it is in the shade for a long time, it may even cause abnormal growth and death. In addition, it requires water, but avoids stagnant water. Also, although we say that it is resistant to barrenness, whether the soil is suitable for it will also promote or inhibit its growth and development. We will talk about the specific requirements later. There are also factors such as temperature and pruning.

Specific methods

Light: Judging from its habits, light can be said to be very important. Therefore, except when the midday sun is particularly strong in summer, there is no need to provide it with excessive shade at other times.

Water: It develops faster in spring, so it needs more watering. In addition, it is important to keep the plant moist before flowering, otherwise it will affect the quality of flowering.

Soil quality: Slightly acidic soil is better, and there are also some other requirements such as fertility and looseness.

Temperature: This mainly refers to its reproduction period. In order to increase the rooting speed of its seedlings, the temperature should be between 20 and 25 degrees.

Pruning: Generally, pruning is required before buds sprout, leaving the main branches about 1.5 cm and the side branches with three to five buds. In addition, sick and weak branches and dead branches should be cut off. Also, after flowering, the branches that have bloomed should be cut off.

Precautions

In summer, it is usually the rainy season, so the issue that needs to be paid attention to at this time is waterlogging prevention to avoid root rot of plants.
