Taboos for the maintenance of potted flowers in spring

Prevent excessive temperature differences

As the saying goes, spring is chilly. In spring, the temperature is unstable and the temperature difference is large. The biggest nemesis of flowers is the spring chill. Therefore, in spring, some cold-fearing flowers must be brought indoors in time, and more attention should be paid to temperature changes to prevent the flowers from being cold. After moving outdoors, the flowers should be placed in a location that is sheltered from the wind and has good lighting. If you find a sudden change in temperature, be sure to move the flower pots indoors in time.

Watering

Spring is a good time for all things to come back to life, but the climate is dry and windy in spring, so you should pay attention to watering the plants. Watering in spring should follow the principle of moderation. Excessive watering will cause excessive growth of branches and leaves, thus affecting the quality of flowering. In addition, if the soil in the pot is too moist, it is likely to lead to a lack of oxygen in the soil, causing root rot. Therefore, watering in spring must be moderate.

Don't over-fertilize

Potted flowers have just survived the cold winter and are often relatively weak. At this time, you should fertilize the flowers, but the amount of fertilizer should be reasonably controlled. It can be applied two to three times a month, or once every half a month or so. The amount of fertilizer should be gradual from less to more. In addition, after fertilizing, you should also pay attention to watering and soil management. Do not apply concentrated fertilizers to damage the plant roots.
