Jade tree care tips, how to propagate

Jade tree care tips, how to propagate

1. Maintenance skills

1. Suitable soil: Jade plant is a kind of succulent plant, so the requirements for soil are not very strict, but there are some requirements. It should provide loose, fertile, breathable, well-drained soil, mixed with a little base fertilizer. Such soil is more suitable for growth.

2. Adequate sunlight: Jade plant cannot grow without sunlight, so it must be provided with sufficient sunlight. It can be placed in a bright sunny place, but be careful of direct sunlight in the summer, and pay attention to sun protection and shade under the scorching sun.

3. Reasonable watering: Pay attention to reasonable watering during the growth and maintenance period. Water regularly during the growth period to keep the soil moist, but do not allow too much water to accumulate to prevent root rot. The temperature is high in summer and the evaporation is very strong, so you can water more appropriately. The temperature is relatively low in winter and the growth rate slows down. You can control the watering, water it every 7-10 days, and keep the soil in the pot dry.

4. Apply fertilizer: It likes fertilizer and grows very fast. Apply enough base fertilizer before planting in pots, and apply decomposed liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing period.

5. Maintain the temperature: The temperature suitable for its growth is around 20-30 degrees. It should not be higher than 35 degrees in summer and not lower than 7 degrees in winter.

2. How to reproduce

The main method of propagation of jade plant is cuttings. You can use branches for cuttings or leaves for cuttings.
