What are the flowers suitable for spring cuttings?

Fuchsia

Spring is a good time to take cuttings of fuchsia.

First, you need to choose suitable cuttings, select branches with tender tips, keep two leaves on the top, and cut them to about 7-8 cm long. The cut branches are soaked in potassium permanganate solution for disinfection.

After processing the cuttings, you can insert them into the prepared substrate, then water them thoroughly and place them in a brightly lit place for maintenance. Be careful to keep the soil moist.

Yushu

In spring, jade plant can also be propagated by cuttings.

Choose young branches or leaves of a jade plant that is growing relatively healthily, remove them and place them in a cool place to dry, and then proceed with cuttings after the wounds are dry.

When taking cuttings of Kalanchoe, you can choose strong branches from the Kalanchoe plant and cut 5 cm of them as cuttings. When grafting, sand is usually the best soil.

Insert the cuttings into moist soil and cover them with a layer of plastic film to help them take root quickly.

The method of cutting salvia officinalis in spring is very simple. You can choose well-growing branches from the top of the salvia officinalis plant as cuttings. You can plant it directly in water so that it can take root quickly.
