What are the flowers suitable for spring cuttings?

Fuchsia

Spring is a good time to take cuttings of fuchsia.

First, you need to choose suitable cuttings, select branches with tender tips, keep two leaves on the top, and cut them to about 7-8 cm long. The cut branches are soaked in potassium permanganate solution for disinfection.

After processing the cuttings, you can insert them into the prepared substrate, then water them thoroughly and place them in a brightly lit place for maintenance. Be careful to keep the soil moist.

In spring, jade plant can also be propagated by cuttings.

Choose young branches or leaves of a jade plant that is growing relatively healthily, remove them and place them in a cool place to dry, and then proceed with cuttings after the wounds are dry.

When grafting jade plants, you can insert the cuttings directly into the soil. After grafting, be sure to keep the soil moist. Generally, the cuttings will take root in about 20-30 days.

Kalanchoe
