Morphological characteristics of hyacinth

The leaves of hyacinth are green, shiny, fleshy, relatively thick, and ribbon-lanceolate in shape.

When hyacinth blooms, there are about 10-20 small flowers densely distributed on the upper part of the stem. They generally grow horizontally, and very few will droop. The overall shape is the same as the corolla, and the shape is funnel-shaped. The flower colors are very rich, including blue, pink, purple, yellow, white and many other varieties.

The value of hyacinth

Ornamental value: Hyacinthus is a precious bulbous flower. Its plants grow neatly and low, bloom in early spring, have dignified inflorescences and rich colors, and are very graceful. It can be well arranged in flower beds, flower borders and flower troughs for decoration, and can also be made into cut flowers and potted plants or grown in water for viewing.

Other values: Hyacinth can also filter dust; the fragrance helps stabilize emotions and relieve mental fatigue; in addition, aromatic oils can be extracted from the flowers.

Note: The bulbs of hyacinth are poisonous and can cause dizziness, stomach cramps, diarrhea and other symptoms if ingested accidentally. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid accidental ingestion by children or pets.
