2. Morphological characteristics

The ginseng fruit plant is about 60 to 150 cm tall, the base of the stem is woody, and adventitious roots easily grow on the stem nodes. Its leaves are hairy, basal, nearly leathery or papery, oblanceolate or linear-lanceolate in shape, about 15 to 65 cm long and about 1.5 to 9.5 cm wide.
