Chiyoda pine is native to Mexico. It prefers a warm and sunny environment and can be maintained in full sun. Under good lighting conditions, the leaves will also change color, from emerald green to light red, with a hint of pink, and become extremely bright.

Water and fertilizer management

Watering: Water once a month in spring and autumn, water sparingly in winter and keep the soil in the pot dry. Avoid waterlogging in the pot soil in summer to prevent root rot.

Fertilization: Fertilize once a month during the growing season, using diluted cake fertilizer water or special fertilizer for potted flowers. It is better to apply thin fertilizer. Place it in a sunny place to overwinter in winter.

Chiyoda pine does not like hot and humid environments. The summer temperatures are generally high across the country, and the rainy season is almost always in summer, which often creates an environment that is not conducive to the growth of Chiyoda pine.
