Isuzu jade breeding methods and precautions

illumination

Isuzu jade likes light, but cannot be placed in the sun for a long time.

Autumn, winter and spring are the growing seasons. Place the Isuzu jade on a south-facing balcony indoors, ensuring 3 to 4 hours of sunlight a day and sufficient diffuse light at other times. This protects the leaves from burns and keeps the leaves of the Isuzu jade compact, fresh and attractive.

In summer, place the Isuzu jade on the east or north balcony and keep it well ventilated to prevent the roots of the plant from rotting in a high temperature environment. Especially in the northern region, summer is the most difficult time. When placing it outdoors, be careful not to let it get wet in the rain.

Watering

If you are not sure how to water the plants at first, you can use the immersion method to water the plants. The water level from the bottom of the pot should not exceed 2/3 of the pot. It will take about 15 seconds. But don't use the immersion method of watering frequently, once a month is enough.

There are also requirements for watering time. When you see the leaves wilting and wrinkling, water them in time. The leaves will slowly recover after 6 hours. Record the time when the leaves become wrinkled, and water them a little earlier next time to avoid this phenomenon.

Fertilization

Fertilization should be combined with watering. Dissolve the granular fertilizer in the water, or mix it with liquid fertilizer and water it directly. Pay attention to applying thin fertilizers frequently and do not apply large amounts of fertilizer at one time. It is enough to apply fertilizer 5 to 6 times a year. The specific time can be determined according to the growth of the plant.

Precautions

When watering Isuzu Jade in summer, do not water it from above; when watering by the immersion method, if the permeability of the potting soil is poor, it is best to soak it half-wet. Don't water on rainy days, and don't let it get wet in the rain. In winter, you can water the plants appropriately in rooms with heating.

At least 5 hours of sunlight should be ensured every day. If there are continuous rainy days, pay attention to ventilation or use artificial incandescent lamps to supplement the light.
