Will Zibao bloom?

Some flower lovers said that the Zibao they had been raising for four years was still growing in the pot with those leaves, and no flower stems had ever grown. They even began to doubt that the legend that Zibao could bloom was just a legend! But, Zibao really can bloom! If you don’t believe me, just look!

Zibao's entire meeting process

When the spathiphyllum blooms, buds will first grow between the leaves. At first, you will think that it is a new spathiphyllum, because several plants have already grown from the roots, so you will not pay much attention.

But after two or three days, you will find that the bud-like object between the leaves is actually a flower bud! A small bunch of flower spikes grows at the top of the date-red stem. Zibao's flower stems grow very fast and are very long. It grew twenty to thirty centimeters in just over ten days, which is not like its usual character.

The flower spike is two centimeters long and looks like an ear of wheat. The combination of stem and flower spike looks like a spear. However, there is no sign of any intention to open up, which is consistent with its usual style of not being impatient or anxious.

The beginning of summer has just passed, and after nearly a month of unremitting efforts, the buds finally bloomed! The flower stem, which is light red in green, is more than 60 centimeters long, and there is a distance between the flower buds.

The flowers start to bloom from the bottom, and are small lantern-shaped flowers, bulging in the middle and smaller at both ends. The front end is light green, followed by pink red, which looks like the color combination of two-color ice cream. The flower mouth is very small, with pale yellow stamens. Although it’s not beautiful, it’s quite unique!
