Can sunflowers be grown at home?

Can sunflowers be grown at home?

Living Environment

Sunflower has a well-developed root system and can be cultivated in the open field. It is relatively drought-resistant and requires little water in spring. When the temperature is high in summer, the water supply should be increased appropriately. As long as there is sunshine, everything else is ok . The most suitable growth temperature is between 15~25 ℃. If the temperature is lower than 13 ℃, the plant will wilt and stop growing.

Sunflowers are highly adaptable and can grow as long as there is sunlight and soil (ordinary soil is fine). However, the growing area must be well ventilated and properly protected from wind and rain.

Planting requirements

Sunflowers are propagated by sowing. They can be sown in all seasons, but mainly in summer and winter. The temperature must be considered when sowing in winter. As long as the temperature is right, nothing else will be a problem. In short, as long as there is enough space and sunlight at home, there is no problem growing sunflowers.

Judging from the above two conditions, planting sunflowers at home is a good choice. However, be sure to ensure that the potted sunflowers have sufficient water, otherwise it will easily result in the pot being small but the plant being large.

In fact, the editor believes that except for some precious plants and those that have strict requirements on the living environment, all others are suitable for home cultivation. How to raise them depends on your personal preference!
