The efficacy and contraindications of drinking Astragalus in water

1. Efficacy

The root of Astragalus can be used as medicine. It is warm in nature and sweet in taste. It has many functions such as tonifying Qi and strengthening the exterior, diuresis, cardiotonic, lowering blood pressure, antibacterial, pus discharge, and tissue regeneration. It is one of my country's traditional Chinese medicinal materials and has a long history of medicinal use. Drinking Astragalus membranaceus soaked in water has good health care effects and can bring many benefits to the human body. It is a common health care product and is very suitable as a nourishing medicinal material for daily health care. For example, if you are overly worried and your body is in a sub-healthy state, and you have symptoms such as qi deficiency, fatigue, and decreased resistance, you can drink Astragalus membranaceus tea to regulate your body, improve immunity, and protect yourself from bacteria.

2. Taboo

1. Women should not drink it during menstruation. Girls who are menstruating should not drink Astragalus water, otherwise they will experience problems such as dysmenorrhea and affect their health.

2. People with colds and tuberculosis should not drink it. If patients with cold and fever drink it, it will not be conducive to reducing fever and will make the condition worse. In addition, it is not recommended for tuberculosis patients to drink Astragalus water if they have symptoms such as coughing up blood, dry mouth and fever.

3. Don’t drink excessively. If you drink too much, it can easily cause adverse reactions in your body, such as irritability, poor sleep quality or insomnia, sore throat, high blood pressure or dizziness.
