The whole plant is narrow and long, and the top is relatively pointed. Its flowering period is from late autumn to winter. The flowers are orange-red with green tips on the petals and the flowers are slightly drooping.

3. Stem Clivia: Usually the stems of Clivia are very short, or almost stemless. This flower has an above-ground stem that is 1 meter long, and very few can grow up to 3 meters. The leaves are arcuate, 3.5-7 cm long and 3-6 cm wide. Its flowering period is in spring and summer. The flowers will droop naturally, and are orange-red in color with green at the tip.

Its biggest feature is that there is a white stripe in the middle of the leaf. Its seeds usually mature in 5 months and grow faster in semi-arid areas.

7. Clivia miniata: The leaves of this variety are hard in texture and rough in surface, mostly in ribbon shape. The leaves are blunt at the top, and each inflorescence has 20-60 small flowers, which usually droop naturally. They are dark orange in color, and the tips of the petals are green. Its growth cycle is long, often taking 8-10 years from sowing to flowering.
