How to take care of the newly bought maiden heart

How to take care of the newly bought maiden heart

1. Temperature

Temperature is very important for maidenhair that has just arrived in a new environment. The temperature should be controlled at around 15-32 degrees, which can shorten the time it takes to adapt to the environment. If the temperature is not suitable, the leaves of the maidenhair plant are likely to turn yellow, become soft and fall off.

2. Watering

Maiden heart is very drought-resistant and does not require much water. After you buy it home, do not water it too frequently. If you water too much, it is very easy to accumulate water and cause root waterlogging. Just water it once every ten days or so, and then replenish water after the soil is completely dry.

3. Lighting

After you buy the maiden heart home, you can let it receive appropriate sunlight so that it can adapt to the environment faster and resume growth. But it should be noted that during the period of light exposure, it should be avoided from being exposed to strong light, otherwise it is very easy to burn the plant, and shade should be provided at the same time.

4. Fertilization

Maiden Heart has a strong demand for fertilizer, and sufficient nutrients can make it grow faster. Therefore, you can apply some nitrogen fertilizer to the newly purchased maiden heart pot to promote growth, but do not use too much to avoid burning the roots. At the same time, do not apply fertilizers related to phosphorus.
