The efficacy and function of arrow leaf okra

Use as medicine

This is the main function we are talking about. Its characteristics are "sweet, mild and slightly warm". Its roots can be used as medicine to relieve symptoms such as stomach pain, diarrhea, neurasthenia, and dizziness. It can also be used externally to reduce swelling, remove blood stasis and treat injuries. Also, in northern Vietnam, its roots are used as an anti-dysentery medicine and a tonic.

We can dig its roots in winter, wash and slice them, and then dry them for internal or external use. The specific method of internal use is to take three to five cents of it and boil it into a soup and drink it.

Ornamental effect

If you don't know what it looks like yet, take a look at its picture. How about it, are you attracted by its flowers? Yes, its flowers are very beautiful, usually red, but a few are yellow. Its leaves are also bright, with a variety of shapes and luster, making them a good backdrop for the flowers. Therefore, this determines that its ornamental value and breeding value are relatively high. It is very suitable for planting in the garden or flower bed. During its flowering period from May to September, it will surely attract many people to stop and admire.

Environmental Value

We mentioned above that it is mainly distributed in grassy slopes and hills. The environmental quality of these places is generally good because there are many kinds of plants distributed here. The role of this plant in the environment cannot be ignored either.

Edible effect

In some areas, this plant can also be used as food, for example, it can be cut into slices and used to make soup or porridge. In addition, it can also be used to make wine. Just wash the original roots and soak them in the wine.
