Cultivation methods and precautions of yellow flower Zhaobo

Cultivation methods and precautions of yellow flower Zhaobo

1. Temperature requirements

The temperature requirement of the yellow flower is not high and it can be kept outdoors all the time. Even in the cold winter, it can survive at minus five degrees Celsius and can grow around zero degrees. Although the temperature requirements are not high, in order for the plant to grow healthily, it is recommended not to keep it in an environment that is too cold or too hot. 15 degrees to 22 degrees is the most suitable temperature for its growth. In the winter when the temperature is lower, you must pay attention to keep warm.

2. Lighting requirements

The yellow flower spathiphyllum does not require too much light, but it prefers light. If there is plenty of sunlight, the flowers will be more lush and the flower shape will be more beautiful. During the dormant period in summer and winter, pay attention to proper shading. In summer, the sun is scorching, so you should avoid direct sunlight and provide shade.

3. Watering requirements

Like other succulents, the demand for water is not particularly high for the goldenrod. In its native places of South Africa and the Mediterranean region, it can often survive without rain for several months. When watering, wait until the soil in the pot is completely dry, and then water it enough at one time. In winter, water must be strictly controlled to keep the soil dry.

4. Fertilization requirements

In spring and autumn, the temperature and water are relatively suitable, which is the growth period of yellow flower Zhaobo. The plant needs more nutrients and can be fertilized once a month. Fertilizers can be rotten leaves or compound fertilizers. During the winter dormancy period, the plant stops growing and does not require much nutrients, so fertilization should be stopped.

5. Reproduction Methods

The main method of propagation of Yellow Flower Autumn Wave is division. The best time for division propagation is spring and autumn. Take the yellow flower out of the pot, and then divide the plant into two or three parts by hand according to the direction of the roots. It is not advisable to divide it too small, and try to divide it as evenly as possible. After dividing, remove the rotten rhizomes that are not growing well, disinfect the wounds, and plant them in different pots. New roots will grow soon.
