1. What kind of region can be installed wind turbine?

Secondly, If you are mind the noise from wind generator, vertical type wind turbine generator is first choice. For silence and safety are its highlight. But the Shortcomings is that the power efficiency is lower than horizontal axis type.
Next, Power smaller than 500W more suitable for hybrid wind solar system for lamp, monitor system for low power consumption to such system.
4. How to calculate the actual need power in my home to configure the appropriate power of wind turbines?
At present, battery stores the power from the wind turbine, then discharge to home appliances. So the power which discharged to the load and be charged timely by wind turbine is the amount of the actual needs power.
Take an example: the rated output power from wind turbine generator is 100W per hour, the continuous workable hours by wind is 4 hours. The battery can be charged total capacity is 400WH. For only about 70% power from battery can be discharged to the load, so the actual power which can be used from battery is 280WH.
If there are:
1) Bulb15W x 2 Pieces, working 4 hours one day, consumption 120WH
2) TV 35W x 1 set, working 3 hours one day, consumption 105WH
3) Radio 15W x 1 Piece, working 4 hours one day, consumption 60WH
Above total consumption is 285WH per day. If you only design to install 100W wind turbine generator, the consumption total power will more than the power from wind turbine generator. In long period of time using power from 100W wind turbine generator, it will make the battery serious loss of electricity and damaged, and it will cut down your battery service life.
It is assumed that wind turbine at rated wind power generation and energy consumption, but in fact, due to the variability of the wind, intermittent, there are strong and weak wind different (wind speed) and wind blow in long time and short time different(frequency). So you should cut down even cut off some electrical application working time when the wind condition is in poor to protect your battery. If your budget is enough, it will be better to install a diesel generator set or install solar panels at the same time.
4.How to choise inverter for wind power system?
In on grid system, you can choise grid tie inverter, but first between wind and inverter, must install wind controller(or hybrid wind solar controller)
In off grid system, off grid inverter must be connected with controller.
5.Off grid system, how to choice wind controller?
The cheapest is to match wind controller without special function( for example: IP67 WT060).
The safety is to buy wind controller(or hybrid wind solar controller) with dump load(example: 1400W80)
6.Do i need to build lighting protection for my wind system?
Normally to small wind system, for the wind turbine generator and the wind tower pole are metal material which is electrically conductive. And the base of wind power pole must be inserted into the earth deeply. That is good light protection way. But to power controller box and the big power wind system will be better to install additional lighting protection equipment.
7.What is designed life of wind turbine generator? What is the warranty peroid?
Normally, to the small power wind turbine the designed life is 10-15 years, to the big power wind turbine the designed life time is 25-30 years. The warranty is 1 years to small power, the big power is 3 years. The replace is free within 3 years for the quality problem (But does not include any damage caused by non-product quality, such as:Earthquake, tsunami, flash floods, strong winds, wars, etc.)
