How to water bonsai with moss

How to water bonsai with moss

Watering method:

Let’s first talk about the growth environment of moss. Humidity is an indispensable factor. Moss can only grow when there is sufficient humidity, but there must also be sufficient humidity to be conducive to its growth. Therefore, watering is the top priority when caring for moss on a daily basis. But considering the presence of other plants in the bonsai, you must choose the right method when watering.

The simplest way to water the plants is to use a smaller watering can, adjust the nozzle to a spray shape, and then spray water on it, but be careful to try not to splash on other plants. The number of times of spraying water can be determined according to the breeding environment. If the environment is relatively dry, spraying water 2 to 3 times a day is needed. If the environment has a certain degree of humidity, once a day is sufficient.

Note:

If there is only moss in the bonsai, you don't need to pay so much attention, just place it in a slightly humid place. However, if moss is used as a decorative bonsai plant, you must first have a general understanding of its main plants and then choose a suitable environment for cultivation.

Moss grows best in an environment with a temperature of 25 degrees. It is also the plant that is most afraid of dryness, so it is necessary to do a good job of moisturizing in summer. In winter, moss is usually kept indoors, but the indoor environment is very dry, which is also a big test for moss.
