Why is the bean green losing its leaves? How to remedy it

Why is the bean green losing its leaves? How to remedy it

1. Unsuitable soil

Reason: The cultivation of evergreen requires suitable soil conditions, which is the basis for its growth and development. If the soil is not changed for a long time, the soil will become hardened and airtight, making it difficult for the roots to breathe, eventually suffocating and rotting the roots, causing the leaves to fall off.

Solution: When you first plant the plant in a pot, you need to provide loose and breathable soil. After one or two years of cultivation, you need to replace the potting soil in time and choose new loose soil to maintain growth.

2. The temperature is too low

Reason: The temperature in winter is relatively low. If no warming measures are taken, the temperature will drop below 10℃, which will cause the plants to suffer from frost damage and cause the leaves to fall.

Solution: Keep the temperature above 10℃ in winter, keep warm, the temperature should not be too low, and ventilate appropriately at noon.

3. Excessive water

Reason: Chinese evergreen needs an appropriate amount of water to grow. If it is watered too much or there is excessive water accumulation, the soil will become too wet, causing root rot and leaf loss.

Solution: Water by observing the condition of the soil, wait until the surface is dry before watering, and water thoroughly at one time. When you find that there is too much water accumulation, you need to promote the drainage of excess water.

4. Pest and disease problems

Reason: There is little possibility that evergreen will be infected with diseases and pests, but once it is infected, it will cause leaves to fall off.

Solution: Remove the diseased leaves in time, improve ventilation, and spray pesticides in time when the disease occurs.
