What to do if the hydroponic white anthurium does not bloom

1. Adjust the light

Although white calla lilies can tolerate shade, if there is insufficient sunlight for a long time, its growth will be affected, resulting in weak growth and it will be difficult to bloom. If the light is too strong, it will be detrimental to flowering, causing the leaves to turn yellow and the plant to not bloom. The light needs to be adjusted. During the flowering period, the plant can be exposed to more sunlight, mainly scattered light. In summer, it is also necessary to avoid direct strong sunlight.

2. Change water in time

The main source of nutrition for hydroponic anthuriums is water quality. If the water is not changed in time, the oxygen in the water will be consumed and the nutrients will be absorbed, making it impossible for flowers to bloom. Change the water regularly, wash the container with clean water, then trim the old and rotten roots at the bottom, and then replace it with new water rich in oxygen to cover half of the roots.

3. Adjust the temperature

Anthurium cannot tolerate cold climates. If the temperature is too low, it will be difficult for it to bloom. Of course, high temperatures are also not conducive to flowering. Adjust the temperature between 20-28 degrees Celsius. To bloom, it must be kept above 20 degrees Celsius and not exceed 35 degrees Celsius.

4. Add nutrients

If no nutrients are applied for a long time, the roots will not be supplied with nutrients and naturally they will not be able to bloom. When changing the water, you can add nutrient solution and spray foliar fertilizer.
