What to do if the rose buds dry up and fall off

1. Balanced nutrition

Reason: When growing roses, if you apply too much nitrogen fertilizer, the branches of the plant will grow too long and it will limit its flowering. Improper fertilization will cause the small flower buds to dry up and fall off.

Treatment method: During the bud formation period, some fertilizers containing phosphorus and potassium should be applied, which will be more conducive to the growth of flower buds. If there is too lack of nutrients, the flower buds will fall off.

2. Replenish water

Reason: If the intervals between watering are too long, the soil will lack water, and the flower buds will gradually dry up and even fall off.

Treatment method: Water it immediately. The soil should be kept slightly moist. After the surface of the soil turns white, it should be watered in time.

3. Control the amount of water

Reason: When watering, you should also control the amount of water and the frequency of watering. If there is too much water in the soil, it will hinder the breathing of the roots, and the root rot will cause the small flower buds to dry up and fall off.
