What to do if the goldfish plant does not bloom

1. Increase lighting

The goldfish spider plant needs relatively sufficient light during its growth period, and requires bright scattered light. If there is insufficient light and it is placed in a dark place for a long time, it will easily grow too tall, and too many branches and leaves are not conducive to flowering. In autumn and winter, it can receive sufficient sunlight, and in summer it should be properly shaded.

2. Timely topdressing

The goldfish plant is a kind of flower that likes fertilizer. It requires loose and fertile soil with a relatively high organic matter content. Therefore, the soil prepared for it needs sufficient fertilizer. During the flowering period, a thin whole-element fertilizer can be applied once every half a month as topdressing.

3. Maintain humidity

Goldfish Chlorophytum is a slightly water-loving plant. The soil in the pot should be kept moist and the air should have sufficient humidity. Excessive drought or long-term waterlogging will cause root rot and make it difficult for it to bloom.
