When watering azaleas, you should water them moderately, and water them when the soil is dry. Overfertilization of azalea

Rhododendron is not tolerant to fertilizer, especially concentrated fertilizer and raw fertilizer. When fertilizing, if some uncomposted raw fertilizer or fertilizer with too high concentration is used, it will easily cause root burn and cause the plant to die. When fertilizing azaleas, it is best to use small amounts but multiple times, and apply some ferrous sulfate. Stop fertilizing in autumn.

Failure to repot azalea in time

Potted plants need to be repotted. If the azalea is not repotted for a long time, the roots will grow more and more, unable to stretch further and insufficient nutrient absorption. Over time, the plant will wither and die, so it is best to repot the azalea in a timely manner, at least once every 3 years, and prune the roots.
