Disease and insect pest control of purse flower

Diseases

The first is damping-off disease, which is more common in its seedling stage. When this disease occurs, we must first disinfect the soil and then spray some medicine. In addition, pay attention to the amount of watering and do not let the soil in the pot be too wet.

Then there are "Verticillium wilt" and "Botrytis cinerea", which are more likely to occur when the plants grow a little bigger. The main cause of their disease is that the potting soil is too wet and the ventilation is poor. To prevent and control this disease, we must first control the amount of watering and never keep the soil in the pot in a very wet state for a long time. In addition, pay attention to ventilation and cooling. If the situation doesn't improve, we'll have to resort to spraying pesticides. Generally speaking, we can choose 50% carbendazim diluted 600 to 800 times and spray it once every one week to ten days.

Pests

The first is red spider mites, which are more likely to appear when the air is dry and the temperature is high. If the pest is concentrated on certain branches, we can cut those branches off and dispose of them. If the pests are distributed on every branch, it is best to spray 40% of the 1,500 times concentration of dimethoate emulsifiable concentrate to kill the insects, which is very effective.

Then there are aphids, which are relatively common and can cause considerable damage. The best way is to spray the medicine, you can use imidacloprid or aphid killer. However, one thing that needs to be noted is that in order to prevent pests from developing drug resistance, we can use a mixture of several drugs.
