Disease control of Jade Plant

Disease control of Jade Plant

anthrax

Harm and symptoms: This disease mainly harms fruits (both immature and mature), flowers, leaves and other parts. When the disease first occurs, small spots appear on the leaves, fruits and other parts of the plant, appearing black or dark brown. If the condition continues to develop, these small spots will rapidly expand and tend to merge into one. After about two to three days, the fruit will turn black and rot, and the leaves will gradually fall off.

Prevention and control methods: First, you can spray some pesticides for prevention and control, such as 50% carbendazim powder and 1,000 times liquid. The next thing is to clean up the fallen leaves around the plants in a timely and regular manner, as well as the fallen diseased flowers, leaves and fruits around them, and dispose of them to maintain sanitary cleanliness. Also, harvest at the right time and do not wait for the fruit to rot naturally, as this may induce the disease. Another point is to strengthen water management and not make the surrounding environment too humid.

Root rot

Harm and symptoms: As we can see from the name, it mainly harms the root system of this plant. The specific harm is that the roots of the plant rot, and its ability to absorb nutrients and water gradually weakens. If this situation continues, the worst case scenario will lead to the death of the entire plant. Its main symptoms are yellowing, withering and falling of leaves. This disease usually begins in late March or early April and enters a serious stage in May.

Prevention and control methods: First of all, because this disease is mainly caused by excessive watering, we must first adjust the amount of watering, and also pay attention to timely drainage and ventilation. If the condition is too serious, you can spray medicine.
