Disease prevention and control of fire flower

Disease prevention and control of fire flower

1. Main diseases

The main disease of the fire flower is damping-off disease, which mainly occurs in the spring when there is a lot of rain. Both the seedlings and mature plants of the fire flower will be affected. The main manifestation is the appearance of dark brown spots in the affected areas. In severe cases, large areas of death may even occur.

2. Prevention and treatment methods

1. Be sure to choose plants that have not been attacked by diseases for transplanting. In addition, the soil must be disinfected and free of pathogens. After planting, be sure to apply decomposed fertilizer. Never use fresh farm fertilizer!

2. Plants infected by diseases must be removed and burned in time to prevent the disease from spreading to other plants.

3. Soil disinfection is the key. It is recommended to use 50 ml of formaldehyde and 6 kg of water for disinfection per square meter of soil, or you can use pentachloronitrophenol and fine sand, mix them in proportion and sprinkle them on the seedling bed for cultivating fire flowers. This can prevent the occurrence of diseases from the source.

4. In the spring, you need to spray 1000 times of 70% thiophanate-methyl solution or 1000 times of 75% thiophanate-methyl solution every 10 days. Of course, you can use them alternately, which will be more effective in preventing and controlling diseases.

3. Notes

Disease prevention and control of fire flower is important, but pest control cannot be ignored at the same time. It has many pests, which have a relatively large impact on its growth. In severe cases, the entire fire flower will die, so the occurrence of pests must also be prevented. Everyone must pay attention to this!

Finally, I would like to remind everyone that although we all know that fire flower can be taken as medicine, you must not use it at will. It must be used under the guidance of a doctor. Of course, this is just a digression. Well, today’s introduction to the disease prevention and control of fireweed ends here. I hope you have benefited from it!
