Common diseases of Zibao and their prevention and treatment methods

Common diseases of Zibao: leaf spot

Symptoms of Zibao leaf spot disease: The pathogen infects the leaves, and the spots on the leaves are circular, which then expand into large irregular spots and produce ring patterns. The spots change from reddish brown to dark brown, with gray-brown in the center.

Methods for prevention and control of Zibao leaf spot disease: remove diseased leaves and add pesticides for prevention and control.

Clear the diseased leaf parts promptly and spray the pesticide. The pesticide can be 1000 times diluted 50% thiophanate.

Common diseases of Zibao: rust

Symptoms of Zibao Rust: Rust fungi generally only cause local infection. The affected parts may produce small blisters or blister-like, cup-like, or hair-like objects of different colors due to the accumulation of spores, causing poor leaf growth. In severe cases, the spores accumulate in dense patches and the plants quickly die due to the evaporation of a large amount of water in the body.

Methods for controlling rust of Zibao: remove diseased leaves and apply pesticides for prevention and control. If you find symptoms of rust, you should remove the diseased area, increase ventilation, and improve the growth environment of the plant.

In the early stage of the disease, you can choose to spray 500 times diluted 75% Benomyl wettable powder, 1:1:200 Bordeaux mixture, 1000 times diluted 15% Triadimefon wettable powder, etc.
