Plumeria angular leaf spot

Main symptoms

Angular spot disease mainly occurs on the leaves of frangipani. In the early stage, small brown spots will form, which will gradually expand to form polygonal to irregular shapes. The edges of the spots are black and the inside is brown. In the later stage, the spots will dry up and black granules will appear in a humid environment.

Prevention and treatment methods

Strengthen maintenance, repot and update the substrate in time, apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, and improve plant growth.

To prevent the disease, spray 0.5% Bordeaux mixture every 10 days in early spring, and spray carbendazim solution in time when the disease occurs.

Plumeria powdery mildew

Main symptoms

Powdery mildew is a fungal disease that is more serious in high temperature and poorly ventilated environments. Powdery mildew usually appears on young leaves, white powder appears, and the plant gradually wilts and eventually dies.

Prevention and treatment methods

You can spray 800 times diluted 50% methyl thiophanate-sulfur suspension or 2500 times diluted 20% triadimefon emulsifiable concentrate once every 10 days for 2 to 3 times. If the disease is serious, the diseased plants should be removed in time to avoid infecting other plants.

Plumeria rust

Main symptoms

Orange-yellow pustules appear on the back of the leaves, and corresponding small light yellow spots appear on the surface of the leaves.

Prevention and treatment methods

You can choose to use 1500 to 2000 times diluted 25 % oxycarboxin.

Plumeria pests: Red spider mites

Use spraying of 100-200 times diluted dichlorvos engine oil emulsion for prevention and control.

Plumeria Pests: Scale Insects

It can be sprayed with 2000 times diluted 25% cypermethrin wettable powder.
