What to do if the leaves of the lucky tree dry up

What to do if the leaves of the lucky tree dry up

1. Causes

1. Normal metabolism

When the growth of an organism reaches a certain level, certain metabolic products or metabolic phenomena will be produced, and the lucky tree is no exception. When it grows to a certain size, a small number of leaves will wither due to the continuous physiological reactions in its body.

2. Improper watering

Improper watering methods may prevent the lucky tree from growing normally. If you water it too little, its leaves will dry up due to lack of water. If you water it too much, the accumulated water will affect its root breathing and cause the leaves to dry up.

3. Improper fertilization

Applying too much or too little fertilizer, or choosing the wrong type of fertilizer can also cause the leaves of the lucky tree to wither.

4. Root system problems

The root system is the organ that most plants use to absorb nutrients. If there is a problem with it, the leaves will dry up. The newly purchased branches may not be able to absorb nutrients because they have no root system, causing the leaves to dry up; improper operation during repotting that damages its roots may also prevent it from absorbing nutrients and cause the leaves to dry up.

5. Improper air conditions

The air conditions mentioned here include two aspects: one is air humidity, and the other is air circulation. Whether it is an environment that is too dry or too dense, the leaves may dry up.

6. Lighting issues

If the location where the lucky tree is placed does not receive enough sunlight to meet its needs for photosynthesis, it will also cause the leaves to dry up.

7. Pests and diseases

Some diseases or insect infestation may also cause its leaves to dry out.

2. Solution

The following are solutions to the reasons listed above.

1. Cut off the dead leaves directly and wait for new leaves to grow.

2. If you water too little, add water in time. If you water too much, take out the plant in time, remove some of the wet soil, mix in some dry soil and replant it. After that, water according to the specific situation to ensure that the soil in the pot is slightly moist.

3. If too little fertilizer is applied, add fertilizer in time. If too much fertilizer is applied, remove the plant in time and replace the culture medium. After that, apply appropriate amount of flower fertilizer according to actual situation. If the type of fertilizer is inappropriate, it should be replaced in time.

4. The new branches can be placed in a suitable environment and wait for them to grow roots. If the roots are damaged, you can stop watering them and wait for them to recover slowly before maintaining them normally.

5. Spray some water mist into the surrounding environment to increase the moisture content of the air; place it in a place with good air circulation.

6. Place it in a well-lit area.

7. First cut off the diseased leaves and burn them, then spray the corresponding medicine. You can also spray some dilute concentration medicine for prevention.
