How to divide the weeping angel? Does the weeping angel need to be watered after being divided and potted?

1. How to divide the plant

1. Time selection: To ensure the survival rate of the weeping angel plant, the surrounding temperature should be maintained at around 18-20 degrees Celsius. It can be carried out in spring, summer and autumn every year, preferably around April in spring, and the division cultivation should be carried out in conjunction with repotting.

2. Carry out division: After growing for a period of time, small plants will sprout from the weeping angel plant, and these small plants will have leaves. Wear gloves and use a sharp knife to separate the small plant from the mother plant. You can also gently break it off with your hands. Be careful not to come into contact with the juice during the breaking process and do not let it drip into your eyes. After breaking it off, you cannot plant it in a pot immediately. You have to put it aside to dry first. After a few hours, the cut will be basically dry.

3. Prepare the potting soil: Prepare a flowerpot, it doesn’t need to be too big, and the material should be breathable. Prepare suitable soil, which should be breathable, well-drained and loose, and disinfected after preparation.

4. Planting in pots: Fill the pots with soil, then plant the broken plants in the pots, cover the surrounding soil, and gently press it down with your hands.

2. Do you need to water after potting?

After the weeping angel is potted, it needs to be watered to promote rooting. It also needs to be kept moist to maintain its later growth and development.
