Planting technology of Pinus fasciata

Planting technology of Pinus fasciata

Vanilla has a wide adaptability and is cold-resistant, heat-resistant, waterlogged-resistant, saline-alkali-resistant, disease-resistant and insect-resistant. It has good quality and is easy to cultivate. It is a high-quality and high-yield forage plant and an excellent soil and water conservation plant. Below, the editor will introduce the planting technology of Pinus armeniaca, let’s take a look.

1. Seedbed preparation

Choose well-ventilated, sunny and fertile land as the seedbed. Turn over and break up the soil to level the bed surface. The bed width should be 2-2.5 meters and the ditch width should be 0.5 meters. When preparing the seedbed, apply enough base fertilizer.

2. Sowing time

It can be sown from March to October. The best time for spring sowing is March to May, and the best time for autumn sowing is late August to late September. The germination temperature is 10-15℃, and the suitable growth temperature is 15-30℃.

3. Planting method

The soil in the seedbed should be finely prepared and irrigated with water. The seeds can be sown at intervals of about 5 cm and then covered with 1-1.5 cm of fine soil. To prevent and control underground pests, poison bait is generally used to lure and kill them. The poison bait can be made of 1 kg of 90% "DTPC" plus fried bran or bean cake, cottonseed cake and 100 kg of water. Sprinkle it evenly on the surface, then cover the grass with rice straw and wheat straw to keep the seedbed moist. The seedlings will be all grown in 15-20 days. After that, remove the covering and water frequently to keep them strong. If autumn sowing is too late and the seedlings are small, tender and weak, they should be covered with plastic film to facilitate their growth the following year. Seedlings can be grown in the seedbed using the grain sowing method, which involves inserting seeds one by one into the soil until the seeds are completely covered by the soil. This method uses the least amount of seeds and achieves the highest germination rate. The seed rate per mu is 50-100 grams.

4. Transplantation

It is best to transplant the seedlings when they have 3 to 4 true leaves and are 20 cm long. When the seedbed is dry, water the soil first to moisten it to facilitate transplanting. The seeds are kept for use in the field, with a row spacing of 80x80 cm and about 1,000 plants per acre. The row spacing for harvesting fresh grass is 50x50 cm, with 3550 plants per 667 meters. When the density is too high and the light is insufficient, you can remove the rows or expand the row spacing to carry out asexual reproduction and apply fertilizer after transplanting to promote the survival of the seedlings.

5. Management points

The growth of spatholobi seedlings is slow, and weeds compete for water, fertilizer and light, affecting the growth of seedlings. Therefore, controlling and eliminating weeds is the key task to ensure rapid growth of seedlings. When all the seedlings emerge, carry out the first weeding. Carry out the second weeding after an interval of 10-15 days, and then do a shallow soiling. Thin out the seedlings when they grow 2-3 true leaves. Do the final weeding and soiling before closing the ridges. Be flexible in handling weedy and wasteland .

The above is an introduction to the cultivation technology of pine sycamore. Pine sycamore is a perennial herb of the Asteraceae family. It is rich in nutrients, containing 18%-23% crude protein. It is also rich in 17 kinds of amino acids. Feeding livestock and poultry with pine sycamore has a significant effect on weight gain.
