1. Breeding methods

1. Soil: It likes loose, well-drained and preferably slightly acidic soil. When cultivating it, you can mix it with river sand, garden soil and leaf mold. If it is a potted plant, make sure there are drainage holes at the bottom of the pot to prevent water accumulation and facilitate growth.

2. Temperature: It is neither cold-resistant nor tolerant to high temperatures, so the best temperature for breeding is between 15 and 25 degrees. It should be moved indoors after the temperature drops in late autumn, and the temperature should be kept above 5 degrees in winter. During the high temperatures in summer, spray more water and ventilate more to cool down.

3. Watering: The plant consumes more water during the growing season, so water the plant frequently to keep the soil moist, but avoid waterlogging. If it is placed outdoors, drainage must be carried out during the rainy season, otherwise the accumulated water will cause root rot.

4. Light: Although it is shade-tolerant, it will grow better and have darker green leaves if placed in bright light. But be careful to avoid exposure to the sun, and block or avoid strong light. The light is mild in winter and you can get sunshine all day.

2. Precautions

During the breeding period, in addition to paying attention to the breeding methods and the environment provided, you should also pay attention to regular pruning. Especially in the early stages of growth and during the peak growth season, dense branches and repeated branches should be cut off in time so that the interior can be better ventilated, otherwise it will be easily infected by diseases and pests.
