How to keep the green radish evergreen

How to keep the green radish evergreen

Reasons for yellowing and falling leaves

Pothos is suitable for growing in a warm and humid environment. If it is not adapted to the environment, it will easily cause the plant to turn yellow or the leaves to fall off.

Insufficient light

If it is placed in an environment that is too dim for a long time, it will not only cause the vine stems to grow too tall, the internodes to become longer, and the plant shape to become sparse, but the yellow and white stripes on the leaves will become smaller and lighter, or even disappear completely and fade to green.

Over- or under-watering

Excessive watering will cause waterlogging in the soil, which can easily lead to root rot and leaf withering. If the soil in the pot is dry and lacks water, it is easy to cause yellow leaves and poor plant shape.

The Evergreen Method

Suitable light

In spring, summer and autumn, it can be placed near the east or north windowsill, and in winter, it can be placed on the south-facing window. If you grow it outdoors, pay attention to shading, especially in the summer, you must pay attention to preventing direct sunlight.

Pay attention to insulation

The suitable temperature for the growth of green radish is 20℃ ~ 30℃, and the room temperature should not be lower than 15℃ in winter.

Water moderately

Pothos likes moisture, so it is best to water it during the growing season to keep the soil in the pot moist.

In summer, in addition to watering sufficiently, you should also remember to spray water on the leaves frequently. When the room temperature is low in winter, you should pay more attention to controlling watering. You need to spray the leaves with warm water every 4 to 5 days to wash away the dust on the leaves to help keep the leaves bright and green.
