1. When to plant strawberries

Strawberries do not have high requirements for planting time and can be planted all year round. As long as it can be provided with a warm environment and the soil in which it is planted can always maintain a certain humidity, its seeds will be able to germinate smoothly.

However, the ripening time of strawberries planted in different seasons will be different. Strawberries planted in spring only take about 4 months to mature. Plants planted at other times will take longer to mature. So if conditions permit, it is best to plant in spring from March to April.

2. How to grow strawberries

1. Process the seeds: When planting it, it is advisable to choose healthy and plump seeds. Before planting, you need to wrap the seeds in gauze and then soak them in warm water for 24 hours to germinate.

2. For sowing: it is advisable to choose loose and thick soil as the culture soil. If it is planted in the ground, the land needs to be prepared and fertilized before planting. After processing, lightly sow the seeds on the soil surface and cover them with a thin layer of soil. Keep them warm and moist, and they will germinate in about 2 weeks.

3. Thinning: After a period of maintenance, thinning can be carried out when it grows 3-4 leaves. Remove some of the seedlings that grow too densely, and keep the distance between plants between 20-25cm. This will allow the remaining plants to have enough room to grow. If thinning is not done, they will not grow well due to lack of growing space.
