How to repair the broken leaves of succulent plants

How to repair the broken leaves of succulent plants

1. Dry the wound

During normal maintenance, you must be careful to prevent the leaves from being broken. If you accidentally break a leaf, it will generally not affect normal growth because the number is relatively small. Juice will flow out of the broken leaves, so you need to dry the wound of the succulent first, and dry it in the sun until it becomes slightly dry and curly, but don't let it get wet.

2. Block out strong light

After the leaves are broken, you must pay attention to maintenance. Do not place it under strong sunlight. It is necessary to block the strong light. Wait until the succulents adapt, and then give normal maintenance. If exposed to strong light, succulent plants may lack water, causing partial drying of leaves and difficulty in recovering growth.

3. Add water appropriately

Water will be lost from the leaves, which may cause the plant to lack water in a short period of time, so it is necessary to add water appropriately and water the roots with a certain amount of water. You also need to spray some water around it to increase the humidity, but avoid spraying the wound.

4. Used for cuttings

The fallen leaves do not need to be thrown away, they can be used for cuttings to grow new plants. Prepare a suitable medium, let the wound on the leaves dry slightly, and then insert them into the medium.
